In a written statement by HRE, it was disclosed that a revenge operation had been organised and carried out after a warrior of the HRE fell martyr by the Turkish states Ehrar al-Damascus gang. The assassination targetted Abu Eymen gang member directly, and he was successfully killed as in the action.
The description contained the following details:
“Effective actions organized by our forces against the occupying Turkish army and the gangs under its command, continue in the region of Efrîn and its environs. An effective action was taken by our forces against members of the gang group Ehrar al-Sham.
On July 13, a special assassination by Abu Aymen, a member of the gang group Ehrar al-Sham, led by the occupying Turkish army, was killed in the Şera district of Efrîn. This act of revenge is an act against Abu Eymen, an invading terrorist who caused the martyrdom of our comrade, and played with his funeral.
As the Efrîn Liberation Forces, we strongly emphasize that we will take revenge by wrecking the invasion of the Turkish army and the gang groups under the guidance of the inhuman and terrorist practices they have carried out in the Efrîn region.”
