HPG Press Liasion Center (BİM) made a written statement sharing that one soldier of the occupying Turkish state was killed in an assassination action in Xakurkê. Clashes were disclosed in the Besta region against the invading Turkish soldiers.
HPG BİM statement as follows:
“Within the scope of the Martyr Bager and Martyr Ronya Revolutionary Assault; our forces organized an assassination action on July 30 at 12.30 in the Media Defense Areas of the Xakurkê, on Martyr Derwêş Hill against the occupying Turkish army . 1 enemy soldier was killed in this action.
CONFLICT IN BESTA
On July 28, the invading Turkish army launched an operation with the support of secret troops in the Çelê Sor district in Şehriban area of Şırnak, Besta region. At 12.40 on the same day, our forces clashed with a unit of the invading Turkish army and entered into conflict.
In this clash where dead and wounded soldiers cannot be clarified, two of our friends who fought heroically against enemy forces reached martyrdom. The identity information of our friends who reached martyrdom will be shared with the public later.
The operation withdrew from the area in the evening on the same day.
OPERATION IN SILOPY HAS WITHDRAWN
On July 27, the invading Turkish army launched an operation in the area of Germık and Zêtka villages of the Silopi district of Şırnak. On the same day, the invading Turkish army bombed the operation area and made landings in the morning on 28 July. This operation withdrew ineffectively at noon on the same day.
The invading Turkish army served false reports of guerrilla losses in this operation through its own media. We did not suffer any loss during the operation.
WAR PLANES BOMBED ZAP’S KUNİŞKA AND GUNDÊ FİLLEHA AREA
At about 07.30 on 31 July (today), the warplanes belonging to the invading Turkish army bombed the Bahar Hill in the Kunishka area of the Zap region and the Gundê Filleha area from the Media Defense Areas.
We did not suffer any losses in these bombings.”
