HPG Press Liaison Center (BIM) made a written statement, sharing the identities of three comrades who have been martyred on June 22 in the town of Bitlis, Tatvan, Qencas village; as a result of Turkish army airstrikes. The description of HPG BİM is as follows:
“In our statement dated June 26, we shared with the public that 3 of our friends reached martyrdom as a result of the airstrikes carried out by the occupying Turkish army on the 22nd of June near the village of Qencas in the Tatvan district of Bitlis. The names of the hero martyrs are Destan (Mehmet Sadık İlçin), Ferman (Yunus Seymen) and Marwan (Ferhat Ödümlü).
DESTAN KOÇER
“Our comrade Destan Koçer was born in 1996 in a matriotic environment in the Hezex district of Şırnak. Comrade Destan, born and raised in the village, has never lost his own culture and has managed to maintain it.
Comrade Destan, who witnessed the extermination attacks of the fascist Turkish state against the essence and history of the Kurds, did not accept this persecution against the Kurdish people and joined the guerrilla ranks in 2015.
Destan, who has never had difficulty in adapting to the guerrilla life with the vast experiences he has gained, has fulfilled all the duties and responsibilities he has undertaken in a complete manner. Coming to life with his moral stance, comrade Destan has become one of our exemplary comrades in the active struggle against the enemy.”
FERMAN TOLHILDAN
“Our comrade Ferman Tolhildan was born in 1991 in Istanbul. Comrade Ferman, who lived in an environment where the enemy system exploited and de-identified people, he maintained his own identity and felt great sympathy for the liberation movement that fought against the invaders.
Comrade Ferman realizes that the capitalist system will no longer be a wheel and that the only way to salvation is by providing real freedom and in 2014 he joins the guerrilla ranks.
Our friend Ferman, who joined the guerrilla ranks in Garzan, took on important tasks in this area where the enemy concentrated the most and was in a constant struggle against the enemy.
Comrade Ferman, known for his labour and self-sacrifice, has remained committed to the Kurdish people and the leadership until his martyrdom.”
MERVAN KURSINÇ
“Our comrade Mervan Kursınç was born and raised in a matriotic environment in Siirt. Comrade Mervan, who saw the reality of the enemy as a child, joined the ranks of freedom in 2014 for the freedom of the Kurdish people with his young and brave heart.
Comrade Mervan has become a favourite amongst the comrades with his brave and carefree participation since the first day he joined. Comrade Mervan, who is devoted, determined and deeply influenced all of his comrades with his devotion to the Leadership, has trained himself as a competent guerrilla with the leadership philosophy.
Comrade Mervan voluntarily and successfully completed all tasks in his field, and he was the owner of exemplary participation.”
“We commemorate all the matriotic peoples of Kurdistan, and especially the families of Destan (Mehmet Sadık İlçin), Ferman (Yunus Seymen) and Mervan (Ferhat Ödümlü), who have reached martyrdom.
We promise that we will raise the flag of struggle that our martyrs have carried to this day.”
