The HPG Press Liaison Center has announced the identity of 4 guerrillas who were martyred in the Xakurkê resistance on 2 June.
The description of HPG BİM is as follows:
During the clashes between enemy forces and our forces agaınst the occupation operation in Xakurkê on June 2, 4 of our hero comrades reached martyrdom.
Our comrades Alişer (Özcan Öztürk), Argeş (Sevket Kartal), Dersim (Yaren Danış) and Ronahi (Ronahi Mıho), who took part in the historical resistance of Xakurkê, demonstrated a heroic resistance against the invading Turkish army.
Our comrades who fought against the fascist Turkish state, which attacked by mobilizing all the technical means at hand, fought with the Apoist militant spirit, causing heavy losses to the enemy and once again demonstrated that the occupation would not be so easy and that the colonial Turkish state could not occupy as it wants.

Our comrades Alişer, Argeş, Dersim and Ronahi took their place in the Kurdish Freedom Struggle for the genocide war and occupation operations in Kurdistan. Our comrades, who are deeply committed to the Kurdish people and have active participation in all invasion attacks against the Kurdish people, have deeply embraced the life philosophy of Önder Apo and practised it in life.
Our comrades, who are committed to their own self-worth, have achieved a militant stance in all areas of their stay. Our friends, who are the symbols of labour, courage and self-sacrifice, have completed the tasks of the new period guerrilla-style professionally.
We say to all matriotic people, especially the families of our comrades Alişer (Özcan Öztürk), Argeş (Şevket Kartal), Dersim (Yaren Danış) and Ronahi (Ronahi Miho), our martyrs are immortal and we will raise our struggle with this tradition of resistance. We renew our promise.
