HPG made a written statement on the actions of the Guerrilla forces in Sêrt, Xakurkê and Gever. In the statement, it was shared that the 7 occupying Turkish troops carrying out traps in the district of Eruh, Sêrtîn were killed in the actions taken by the guerrillas.
Description:
1.On June 30, the invading Turkish army started to ambush with the support of secret troops in the area of Dirişkê village of Eruh district of Siirt. For a long time, our forces have followed this unit of enemy forces, which make traps.
This enemy unit, which was under surveillance, was targeted by our forces on 06 July at 06.45 within the framework of the Martyr Media Mawa and Martyr Rızgar Gever Revenge Movements in Botan. 3 soldiers were killed and several soldiers were wounded in this enemy unit, which was effectively shot at close range.
After the action, the invading Turkish army bombed the area with attack helicopters and removed the dead and wounded soldiers from the area with Skorsky type helicopters.
Our unit organizing the action has reached the base areas unharmed.
2. Within the scope of Martyr Bager and Martyr Ronya’s Revolutionary Movement, our forces carried out a series of actions against the invading Turkish army. The details of the actions are:
On July 7, at 22.20, our forces organized two branches of action from the Media Defense Areas against the invading Turkish army located on the Martyr Derweş Hill of the Xakurkê region. Two soldiers were killed in this action, in which enemy soldiers were shot correctly.
On July 9, at 13.30, our YJA Star forces organized assassination activities against a unit of the Turkish army occupying the Martyr Tufan Hill in the Avaşin region. In these actions, two enemy soldiers were killed and the solar panels and surveillance cameras on the hill were destroyed.
At 07.00 on July 10, our YJA Star forces carried out an action against the soldiers located on the Şehit Elişer Hill of Gever (Yüksekova) district of Hakkari. The number of dead and wounded soldiers could not be determined in this action, where the enemy’s positions and shelters were effectively shot.
Following the action, the invading Turkish army bombed the area with howitzers and mortars. There was a fire in the forest area caused by these bombings.
3. At about 2 am on 11 July, the occupying Turkish army bombed the Şehit Diren, Şehit Afat, Satê village and Tepê Çeper areas on the border of Gever (Yüksekova) district of Hakkari with attack helicopters. Simultaneously, the invaders launched an operation with Skorsky helicopters and landings around Martyr Afat Hill. The operation in the field is still ongoing.
4. At around 12.00 am on 10 July, the Iranian army bombed the Berbızına, Goshinê and Ornê areas in the Bradost region of Southern Kurdistan with heavy weapons. In these attacks, 1 civilian was killed and 2 civilians were injured. As a result of these attacks, a fire broke out in the forested area.
