HPG Liasion Contact Center (BİM) shared details of the actions of HPG guerrillas in Gever, Xakurkê and Dersim Ovacık against the occupying Turkish soldiers.
On July 7, our forces organized actions against the occupying Turkish army within the scope of Martyr Bager and Martyr Ronya Revolutionary Assault. The details of the actions taken in this context are as follows:
SABOTAGE ACTION TO AN ARMY TRUCK NEAR GEVER
At 14.10, our forces organized a sabotage action against a truck belonging to the invading Turkish army, moving between Martyr Derman and Martyr Elisher hills of Gever (Yüksekova) district of Hakkari.
While destroying the targeted truck, 3 enemy soldiers were killed.
Following the action, the invading Turkish army bombed the area with howitzers, mortars and attack helicopters and removed the dead soldiers from the area with Skorsky helicopters.
A fire broke out on the land of the village of Şukê due to the bombings of the invaders.
ACTION TO MILITARY LOCATIONS IN XAKURKE’S MARTYR DERWES HILL
At 22.00, our forces organized an action against the occupying Turkish army located on Martyr Derweş Hill of Xakurkê region from Media Defense Areas.
One enemy soldier targeted was killed in this action.
ACTION IN SARITOSUN VILLAGE IN OVACIK’ NEAR THE VILLAGE
At 5:30 pm on July 5, our forces organized a guard hut and cobra-type armoured vehicle of the occupying Turkish army near Sarıtosun village in Ovacık district of Dersim.
In this action, where the enemy soldiers were taken under intense fire from close range, the armoured vehicle was hit and two soldiers were killed.
Following the action, the invading Turkish army, which had begun operations in the morning of 6 July, withdrew from the area without results.
Our unit organizing the action has reached the base areas without harm.
TURKISH WAR PLANES BOMBED GARE AND ZAP
On July 7, at 23.00, the combat aircraft belonging to the occupying Turkish army bombed the Dashta Kafya area of the Gare Defense Zone and the Saca area of the Zap area from the Media Defense Areas.
We did not suffer any loss in these bombings. ”
