HPG Press Liasion Center (BİM) stated that many occupying Turkish soldiers were killed and wounded in the action against the occupying Turkish state, located in the Tepê Xwede area of Avaşin region.
HPG BIM disclosed that in Sirnak, Uludere and Besta regions; a series of actions were carried out. The details of the HPG BİM action are as follows:
“1.Within the scope of the Martyr Bager and Martyr Ronya Revolutionary Assault, our YJA Star forces organized an action against the occupying Turkish army in Tepê Xwedê area of Avaşin region; from Media Defense Areas on July 5th at 12.30.
The number of dead and wounded soldiers could not be determined in this action, where enemy positions and shelters were effectively shot.
Following the action, the area was bombed by the occupying Turkish army and a fire broke out on the land.
2. At 9.30 am on 6 July, our forces carried out an action against the occupying Turkish army located on the Yekmalê Hill of Qileban (Uludere) district of Sirnak.
The number of dead and wounded soldiers could not be determined in this action where the positions on the hill were under intense fire.
Following the action, the invading Turkish army bombed the surrounding areas with howitzers and mortars. As a result of the bombings, there was a fire in the forest area.
3. Within the scope of the Şehit Medya Mawa and Şehit Rızgar Gever Revenge Assault in Botan, our YJA Star forces organized an assassination action against the soldiers in Deriyê Beroj district of Şırnak’s Besta region on July 7 (today).
1 enemy soldier was killed in this action.
TURKISH FIGHTER PLANES BOMBED ZAP ON 5 AND 6 JULY
Warplanes belonging to the invading Turkish army bombed the Saca area of the Zap region from the Media Defense Areas at 5 pm on 5 July. While we did not have any losses of these bombings, material damage occurred in the vineyards and gardens of the local people.
On July 6, at 22.30, warplanes bombed Tepê Cudi, which was also located in the Gundê Fıla area of the Zap region. We did not suffer any loss from these bombings. ”
