HPG Press Contact Center (BIM) made a written statement and shared details of the actions organized by HPG guerrillas.
The description of HPG BİM is as follows:
“The occupation attacks launched in the Media Defense Areas in the Xakurkê region by Turkish forces continue, while the Martyr Bager and Martyr Ronya Revolutionary Assault operation continue actions in response.
On July 11 at 09.10 in the vicinity of the Martyr Sarya Hill, our forces have carried out an action against the occupying Turkish troops; 4 soldiers were killed and 1 soldier was wounded in this action where enemy positions and shelters on the hill were intensified from 3 arms.
After the action, the invading Turkish army, which randomly shot at the area with heavy weapons, removed the dead and wounded soldiers from the area at 14.00 hours by Skorsky helicopters.
Our troops organizing the action have reached solid base areas.
INTENSIVE CONFLICT IN ÇATAK
On June 26, the occupying Turkish army launched an operation in the Arkenis village of Çatak, Van. The occupation operation continued with the support of armoured vehicles and human air vehicles and there were intense clashes between our forces and the invaders.
Two of our friends who fought heroically against enemy troops joined the caravan of martyrs. The identity information of our fallen martyrs will then be shared with the public.
OPERATION IN GURPINAR WITHDRAWAL
On July 4, the invading Turkish army launched an operation in the villages of Aşkan, Silila, Axçur, Xozit and Kanisor in the Payizava district of Van (Gürpınar). The invading Turkish army carried out search activities around the villages, insulted and exerted pressure on the local people.
This operation was withdrawn inconclusive on the same day.
MEDIA DEFENSE AREAS SHEARED
On 11 July, warplanes belonging to the invading Turkish army bombed the Adılbeg area of Avaşin area from Media Defense Areas at 15.00 and the Kesta area of Metina area at 17.00.
We did not suffer any loss in these bombings. ”
