YJA STAR Central Headquarters Commander Emine Erciyes, discussed agenda issues on Dengê Welat Radio.
Speaking about the hunger strike resistance that ended after the meeting with the People’s Leader Abdullah Öcalan, Erciyes said, “the hunger strike was, without doubt, a historical resistance. Leyla Güven, Nasır Yağız, his friends in the dungeon and the insurgents in the strike had all been a part of our lives. ”
Erciyes said, “The resistance of the people and friends -and the spirit of resistance emerged once again. With the arrival of spring, our guerrilla friends became involved with their actions. With rich tactics, they succeeded against the enemy and achieved successful results. ”
Emphasizing that July was an important month in the struggle, Erciyes said, “The spirit of resistance of the PKK was embodied in the dungeon insurgents on July 14 and with Kemal Pir, Hayri Durmus, Akif Yilmaz and Ali Cicek.
On the 20th anniversary of the conspiracy, there is heavy isolation imposed on the leadership. They wanted to repeat the International Conspiracy but comrade Leyla reversed the process of dungeon resistance and the hunger strike that started all over the world, the sacrifice actions and the will of the people. It was a great success.
The spirit of resistance of Kemal, Hayri, Ali and Akifs scattered all over Kurdistan. The resistance spirit of July 14 and Leyla will never be lost. ”
AKP FASCISM WILL BE HELD RESPONSIBLE
Erciyes, who drew attention to the Istanbul elections repeated last month, said:
“The defeat of the AKP in Istanbul means the overthrow of AKP-MHP fascism. The renewal of the election was undoubtedly meant for new tricks. The AKP is exercising tricks because the end of its fascism and system has come. Istanbul had been in their hands for a long time, they made all their dirty plans there, so they cannot afford to lose. They did not want their games and dirty trade in the Istanbul municipality to emerge. They saw that the people no longer tolerate.
The approach of the Kurdish people in this election was very meaningful. It was the right attitude. Everyone saw that the approach of the Kurdish people made the difference between gaining and losing. They also saw that the Kurds would not be deceived by a mouthful of mere words. The Kurdish people saw that the AKP maintained its power through Kurdish blood.
The outcome of the Istanbul elections showed the Kurds’ stance against AKP fascism. Undoubtedly, the struggle is not over and still continues. During the hunger strike, mothers took a very strong stance. But the approach towards them will never be forgotten. Honourable Kurds will never forget this fascism and will not leave it unanswered.
This is the case in the reality of the PKK, which is always based on revenge. ”
KDP SURRENDERED TO TURKISH STATE
Emine Erciyes, one of the commanders of YJA STAR Central Headquarters, who also mentioned the invasion attacks against the Turkish state in Southern Kurdistan, concluded with the following words:
“The invasion in Xakurkê continues. At the same time, our people have also faced targeted airstrikes. The KDP has surrendered to Turkey, which wants to destroy our movement through cooperation. Civilians are targeted every day, but the KDP has not yet displayed an attitude towards AKP fascism.
The people of Southern Kurdistan react to the Turkish state’s invasion and see the PKK as hope for freedom. KDP wants to prevent this. The KDP is not based on the needs of the people but maintains its own system as the ruling power in Basur (South). Even if not in a very organized way, the people of Bashur are reacting. If the Turkish state is attacking 4 parts of Kurdistan, the Kurdish people should be organized everywhere and should protect each other. In this way, they can overcome invading attacks.
We are going through a historical process. As a guerrilla, we will fulfil our role and mission until our leadership is free with great morale. We will have lasting success. Until our victory, our struggle will never weaken, our actions and resistance will grow day by day. Every breath we take, every step we take is for our leadership. We struggle with this spirit and this success strengthens the spirit even more.”
