COLOGNE
Mass crowds protested the massacre of Pirsûs in Cologne, Germany, under the leadership of the European Confederation of Oppressed Migrants (AvEG-Kon) and the Federation of Media (FED-MED).
Exactly 4 years ago, they set out with a belief in the brotherhood of many young peoples who wanted to take part in the reconstruction of Kobane, and met in Pirsûs. On 20 July 2015, ISIS carried out a brutal attack on young people who wanted to make a press release about the journey they started at Amara Cultural Center. As a result of the bomb attack by ISIS gangs of the colonial Turkish state, 33 young people were martyred and more than 100 people were injured.
On the anniversary of the massacre, a large number of people who came together in front of the Cologne Hauptbahnhof condemned the attack. After reading the names of the martyrs one by one, a moment of silence was held in memory of the martyrs of the revolution.
In her speech, Berivan Kinay started by commemorating Pirsûs Martyrs, which is being attempted to be concealed by the fascist Turkish state. She emphasized that international institutions and organizations should focus more on the massacre. In her speech, Berivan Kınay also protested the airstrikes of the invading Turkish army in Mexmûr.
The mass then marched to Neumarkt. The crowds were wanted to be provoked by fascist insult and swearing, by a fascist. The police did not interfere with the fascist person who wanted to spark provocation and instead wanted to attack the mass. In the meantime, the mass continued with the slogans “Merkel finances, Erdoğan bombs”.
When Neumarkt was reached, Feride Halitoğlu made a speech on behalf of FED-MED. Halitoğlu, who mentioned the Martyrs of Pirsûs in her speech, drew attention to the invasion attacks against Mexmûr. Condemning the provocation during the march with a harsh language, Halitoğlu said that the German police tried to criminalize the Kurds in all their activities and actions.
The action ended in Neumarkt.
