BONN
The 19 July Rojava Revolution was celebrated in Bonn, Germany, led by Tevgera Ciwanên Şoreşger and Jinên Ciwan. The celebration passed enthusiastically and was attended by numerous Kurdish and German friends despite fascist police repression.
The picnic and feast organized by the youth in Duisdorf, Bonn began with a moment of silence in memory of the martyrs of the revolution.
Hevidar took the stage and Canda Mexemed Dıldar created colourful images with the folk-dances that were added to the event with the music festival they performed.
As a speaker, Ahmet Aktaş celebrated the anniversary of the Rojava revolution. Referring to the importance of Rojava in the Middle East, Aktaş said that the invaders’ attempts to invade the Kurdistan and their friends living in Europe and the invaders of the Turkish state in recent times have indicated that there must be unity against it.
