Celebrating the 7th anniversary of the Rojava Revolution, Jinên Ciwan ên Azad hung a banner at an overpass in the German capital Berlin. YPG and YPJ flags were painted on the banner hanging on the overpass of a highway at Alexanderplatz.
The Rojava Revolution, which took place seven years ago, developed and strengthened day by day. In the Middle East, the Kurds chose the third way against the oppressions on peoples that were unlike any other place throughout the history of civilization.
This third path alternative paved the way for the struggle for freedom and justice. With this action, we salute the resistance of women in Rojava. We respectfully commemorate all the comrades who reached martyrdom in the struggle against male domination.
We will grow resistance with the spirit of our fallen martyrs. Our revolution has started young and we will succeed as such!”
