HPG-BİM released in a statement that:
Our forces, within the scope of Martyr Bager and Martyr Ronya Revolutionary Assault, carried out a sabotage action against a hedgehog type armoured vehicle moving between Serê Sêvê and Êriş outposts of Çelê (Çukurca) district of Hakkari Province on July 4th at 06.00.
HPB-BİM added, “the number of dead soldiers in this action could not be clarified, in which the targeted armoured vehicle was completely destroyed and all of the soldiers inside were killed.”
In another statement it was released that, on July 4 at 10:00 guerrilla forces, on Çukurca’s Stuna Hill, also held an action against the invading Turkish soldiers.
HPG-BİM said, “the number of dead and wounded soldiers could not be determined in this action where enemy positions and shelters on the hill were effectively shot. “
