Thousands of people and beliefs from the Cizre region gathered in Qamishlo under the leadership of young women to celebrate the 7th anniversary of the Rojava Revolution.
In the 12 March Martyrs Stadium, where the celebration took place, posters of the Peoples’ Leader Abdullah Öcalan and the martyrs, the flags of YPG / YPJ were hung and “Free youth are the guarantee of democratic free life” was written.
“The July 19 Revolution is the ocean of culture and freedom of young women We will destroy your fascism”
Wide security measures taken around the celebration area, ambulances were also ready.
The celebration began with a military ceremony organized by YPJ fighters and Self-Defense Forces. Then YPJ Commander Rojda Efrin spoke. Rojda Efrîn, said “the great sacrifices given in the last seven years of the Rojava Revolution brought great victories. The fighters defending the northern and eastern Syrian territories have shown great resistance against the ISIS and its partner invading Turkish state and secured the gains of the revolution.”
Rojda Efrîn said the resistance against the threats of invasion would be raised.
