HPG Press Liaison Center (BIM) made a written statement on 16 July in the Dorşin area of the Kulp district of Amed.
HPG BİM said:
On July 14, with the support of the secret troops, the invading Turkish army started an operation in the Dorşin area of Pasur (Kulp) district of Amed.
On July 16 at 19.00, the occupation fighter planes bombed the operation area. Sorxwin (Meryem Aksu), Roj (Evindar Dursun) and Vienna (Revşen Akıl) joined the caravan of martyrs in these bombings. The operation withdrew from the area in the evening on 17 July.

Our comrade, Sorxwin Herekol grew up in a matriotic family and environment and was exposed to the enemy’s genocide policies at an early age. Comrade Sorxwin, who never accepted the dirty policies of the enemy over the Kurdish people, did not submit to the injustice and rebelled against the system.
Comrade Sorxwin participated with great determination and excitement in the 2006 Struggle for Freedom in Kurdistan for a free country and a free future. Comrade Sorxwin, who has been active in many areas of struggle from the very first moment she joined, became an exemplary revolutionary militant with great determination and sacrifice. Deeply influenced by the free women’s ideology developed by our leadership, Sorxwin became a successful guerrilla commander by empowering herself with the values created by the Zilan and Beritans. She fought at the forefront to break down the enemy’s invasion attacks and joined the caravan of martyrs by heroic fighting.
Our comrade Roj Botan was born in 1994 in a matriotic family in Beytüşşebap district of Şırnak. Our friend, who grew up with the values of her own society, took her place in the struggle against the occupation policies of the invaders in the region in 2014.
From the first moment she joined, our friend, Roj, embraced the struggle for the fire of revolution in her heart, became the owner of a stance affecting her friends with her combative structure and altruistic stance. She became an exemplary militant who tried to fulfil her duties and responsibilities in the best way during her revolutionary march with a passion for freedom.
Our comrade Viyan Sason was born in 1993 in the Sason district of Batman, which has a matriotic culture. Coming from an uncompromising tradition against all assimilation and repression policies of the enemy, Comrade Vienna joined the Freedom Movement in 2015 to actively fight against the fascist enemy.
From the very first moment she joined the guerrilla, comrade Vienna, has worked in many fields. Comrade Viyan, who is known for her sacrifice and efforts among her friends, and has tried her best to complete her term duties.
Comrade Viyan, deepening in the guerrilla-style of the new era, has become an exemplary militant who constantly develops herself with the leadership’s free women’s ideology. ”
