15 Villages in Bedlis Under Strict Curfew Following Guerrilla Action

The governorship of Bedlîs declared a curfew due to the military operation carried out in some villages and hamlets, within the borders of the central district.

The curfew was declared in 15 villages and hamlets within the borders of Bedlîs central district, where a total of 7 invading Turkish soldiers was killed by guerrilla forces on July 19.

In the statement made by the occupying governor, it was announced that “İçgeçit, Çalıdüzü, Yavuzlar, Yukarıölek, Aşağıölek, Ilıcak, Oğulcak, Üçevler, Kalupat, Aşağıbalcılar, Yukarıbalcılar, Başmaklı, Karakuş, Dutköy and Bayramalan villages and hamlets in accordance with Article 11 / C of the Provincial Administration Law, are under strict curfew until a second order.”
