YPG Press Liaison Center made a written statement on the 4 comrades who were martyred. In the statement of YPG, with the development of the Rojava Revolution, the struggle of the people rising with the demand for democracy and freedom expanded to the north of Syria and the region became the common resistance ground of the peoples.
This glorious resistance of the Rojava Revolution has turned into a major struggle in the most effective manner against all terrorist structures and invasion attacks, revealing historical and important achievements. One of these resistances was developed and experienced in the city of Serêkaniyê in Rojava in 2014 and another in the Resistance of the Efrîn era in 2018.
Our friends Agirî Qamişlo and Arî Zagros, who sacrificed their lives for the free and peaceful lives of our people by exhibiting epic resistance against the invaders and terrorists, reached martyrdom in 2014, whilst comrades Merwan Çiya and Serhed Partîzan fell in 2018.
