Violence against women in Turkey and Northern Kürdistan, murder and child abuse continues to increase in May. The eloquence of the occupying state, reductions of prison sentances due to good behaviour (applied specifically in fascist cases), impunity, war and militarist policies are the main reasons for this increase.
The contents of the programs and news media in the media almost invites the violence and massacres. Women raised their voices in May to raise awareness and prevent blood shed, child abuse and massacres.
From May; 27 women, 14 children were killed, 28 women were subjected to violence by the men closest to them. 27 children were subjected to sexual abuse. The courts applied the Good-Behaviour reduction to 9 men who had committed violence and abuse.
