The effective actions of the Kurdistan Freedom Guerrillas against the occupying Turkish army, MIT and village collabrators are effectively continuing in North and South Kurdistan.
HPG BİM reported that in an action of the guerrilla forces in Amed, dozens of occupying Turkish soldiers were killed. Through special warfare media which works for the occupying Turkish army and the fascist AKP/MHP coalition, the number of soldiers killed in these actions are being concealed.
Guerrilla forces are continuiously carrying out actions against the occupying Turkish army in Amed. The dead and wounded of the occupying Turkish army are being dispatched to the hidden hospitals in Ankara, reported an eyewitness in Amed. The witness disclosed that on Thursday (30 May), 7 dead Turkish soldiers’ corpses were taken to Ankara via Amed Airport.

* On May 26th at 9.00 am, our forces organized an assassination attempt on the soldiers in the Opek outpost in the district of Lice in Amed. 1 enemy soldier was killed in this action.
* The HPG has been providing information on the action in Lice. On May 28, our forces controlled the secret unit of the enemy who had made compasses at Keşan Hill in the village of Dêrxus. This enemy unit, which was followed for a long time, was targeted by our forces around 19.00 on the same day. 3 soldiers were killed in this enemy unit, which was taken under intense fire from close range. After the heavy blow to the occupying TC army, the dead soldiers were taken away from the area by Skorsky helicopters.
* On May 28th at 1:30 am, our forces organized an action against the control points of the PÖH (Police Special Operations) in the district of Lice in Amed. In this action, in which the shacks where the enemy were positioned were fired, 1 enemy cabin was completely destroyed and a large number of PÖH members were killed. After the action, the occupying TC army, which removed the armored vehicles and the dead and wounded soldiers from the field, left the control points completely. Our unit that organized the action has reached a solid base.
