SOLOTHURN
In the Swiss canton of Solothurn, Tevgera Ciwanên Soreşger activists distributed thousands of cards and took action to raise awareness to the invasion by the Turkish state in Efrîn.
They prepared cards asking in German: “in Efrîn, occupied by the Turkish state, your silence killing people,” “Erdogan gangs using guns sold by Switzerland to Turkey are committing massacres. Are you aware of this? ”, “Children are dying in Efrîn, what are you doing against it?”.
RiseUp4Rojava was written on the back of all cards prepared for action.
The handcards were distributed to the Swiss in the busiest areas of the city and left on the windows of cars, vending machines, mailboxes and bus stops.
The action, which lasted for about two hours in the city centre, was completed reaching many people.
In addition to drawing attention to the invasion of Efrîn and the massacres by the gangs of the invading Turkish state, the young people carried out an action aimed at attracting the attention of the public, by protesting the wall that was tried to be built around the Rojava Revolution.
