SOLOTHURN
Tevgera Ciwanên Şoreşger (TCŞ) commemorated Martyr Zîlan (Zeynep Kınacı) in Solothurn, Switzerland. Martyr Zillan, is the warrior behind the self-sacrifice action against a large number of Turkish soldiers in Dersim. Zilans action was a response to the attempted assassination of the Peoples’ Leader, Abdullah Ocalan.
In the commemoration of the martyr Zîlan, in the memory of all martyrs of the revolution, the letter was written by Şehit Zîlan before her action was read. Then, the leader of Peoples Abdullah Öcalan’s evaluations on understanding and the survival of martyr Zîlan were listened to.
In a speech made in the name of Jinên Ciwan ên Azad, Feraşî Botan said, “We promise to continue the tradition of resistance they left with us in the spirit of sacrifice and we know that we owe it to ourselves to raise their legacy.”
The commemoration program ended with the poems and songs about martyr Zîlan about the meaning of this event.
