At noon on Saturday, June 15, Zülfikar İzol and his gangs in collaboration with the fascist AKP regime carried out a massacre in the Çeltik Village of Siverek district of Riha. Collaborators, supported by the Fascist AKP, murdered 4 citizens at the scene and 2 citizens who were fleeing. The reason for the killings was to confiscate the land of the peoples.
Since no statement has been made from the occupying fascist Turkish state, we publish what Musa Serhat İzol’s cousin, who recorded footage:
“I’ll tell you everything from the very beginning, you need to know… Know how we tried to fight the injustice on our heads for years, how we tried to stand for 17 years. One night in 2003, my uncle Mehmet Ali İzol was massacred at his wedding on the henna night.
Those who did this chose my father and my two uncles as victims, and they said they’ve killed them. The night of the incident, my father and I were at the mourning ceremony of my mother’s father in another village. Both my uncles went to Mersin to take my uncle’s son to a doctor. My uncle’s wallet was stolen on the bus; police station records were available, records existed of them going to the hospital, but all the evidence was destroyed. And this was the work of their uncle’s son!
Zulfikar Izol, a former Sanliurfa AKP deputy, has used all his power to eliminate all evidence. Zülfikar İzol said to my father, ver You give all your deeds to me, and when you turn out to be innocent, I will give you all your deeds back to you ”and convinced my father. He had actually planned everything, and the whole plan was working.
As if this was not enough, they bought our lawyer Ahmet Özçiçek with money; he did not make any defense in any court, did not participate in the courts, acted against us constantly, years passed until we realized this, because how can one expect from his own relative?
We are THREE WOMEN staying alone for 17 years, my mother and two other uncle’s wife and children. All three of them had started their new elementary school. I was a third grader in elementary school. We fought together and now we are university graduates.
Zulfikar Izol and his brothers Cihan Izol, Civic Izol, Servet Izol, Bulent Izol, and Cemal Izol tried to scare us with the constant threat, harassment, and bullying in our own village. They wanted to drive us out of our own land. We didn’t submit. They could not get enough: they couldn’t get enough of money, they couldn’t get enough of the land and they couldn’t get enough of the feudal system.
Because the state and law enforcement agencies were always behind them; when they threatened us, when we called the gendarmerie, the gendarmerie would go to their house first, and they would handle the incident in themselves.
There was no one with us in the name of the state, there was nothing in the name of justice. The gendarmerie was at their disposal, they were meeting and giving food. But they had planned everything.
On June 14, 2019, the gendarmerie came to our house and wanted to look around, supposedly to find out who was there and who wasn’t, as if they were newly appointed. However, they were all part of the plan.
On June 15, 2019, that damned time was early in the morning, while we were asleep, more than 10 people came and raided my family as part of the plan. They arrived in four cars, a tractor, and those who did this were the brothers of the former Şanlıurfa AKP MP ZÜLFİKAR İZOL CİHAN İZOL, CIVIL İZOL İZOL, BÜLENT İZOL and Cihan İzol’s son FERMAN İZOL.
My mother, my father, my uncle’s wife, and my uncle’s son were all brutally murdered in front of our house. They were murdered with merciless, murderous, hitting rifles.
This is genocide, not just murder but genocide. Look, the truth isn’t anywhere: murdering all these people, when they’re defenseless, it isn’t written anywhere. Two mothers were killed, two mothers who everything their children had. A father and a son, a 22-year-old son, a son who hasn’t graduated from university. Four people died because of these people. But it won’t be so easy to cover it up. Everything happened before our eyes and we recorded it. All recorded.

İki kuzenim de yaralı şu an. Kadın çocuk demeden kıydılar hepsine. Önlerine kim çıktıysa. “Biz zaten hepsini yok etmeye gitmiştik” demişler, bu yüzden diyorum, bu bir SOYKIRIMDIR.
Bu çok büyük bir acı. Ben herkes bunu bilsin, duysun istiyorum. Bunu tüm Türkiye bilmeli. Bunların nasıl insanlar olduğunu, nasıl bir ölüm planı hazırladıklarını bilmeli.
We, four people, recorded everything that happened on the camera on the phone. We had to watch and record their death in front of our eyes. My two cousins are wounded. They slaughtered them without acknowledging that they are women.
Whoever was in front of them, they said, “We come to destroy them all”, but so I say, this is genocide. This is a great pain. I want everyone to hear it. All of Turkey should know this. They should know how these people are, how they prepared a death plan.”
