Thousands of people have gathered today in the Haringey borough of London in protest against knife crime and to commemorate Baris Kucuk, the most recent victim of the crime within the Kurdish community; the peoples marched through the streets of London, chanting “SAVE A LIFE, DROP THE KNIFE!” In memory of Baris Kucuk.
Baris Kucuk, 33, was stabbed with a knife in London on Saturday (June 1st). After the first intervention to the scene, the medical teams removed seriously injured Baris to Royal London hospital, the police launched an investigation at the scene.
Whilst Baris’ was losing excessive blood, it was disclosed that his heart had stopped beating. Following an intervention, Baris came back to life. The three-day life struggle of Baris Kucuk was announced to end today.
It was later revealed that Baris was stabbed amidst a robbery attempt.
