As it must be disclaimed, the book ‘A revolutionary Approach to The Religion Problem’ is in its undeveloped, primitive form as self-criticized by the Peoples Leader, himself. These writings are not completely representative of the current stand of the PKK regarding the revolutionary approach to religion. There have been many developments released as part of defense writings ever since, due to constraints. Overall, the writings should be taken with a pinch of salt, as we continue to translate and analyze the topic.
JUDAISM
İn order for a clan or tribe to grow, the presence of God, or a better god plays an important role; and with this, sovereignty has been claimed by those who have the biggest God. The people have been made to accept this as the “Will of God”.
In this sense, even in its earliest stages, religion has played a negative role. Using religion as a tool of oppressing – being oppressed, exploiting – being exploited, has led to classism. At the start of the process of classism, the status of religion forms in this way. Especially when we make an analysis of Judaism we see the truth that: With the religion of Judaism being the oldest religion, it is also the religion with the most narrow rules.
İn this religious philosophy, the Jewish peoples being set out by God as the holiest and sacred, them being sat on and in control of the whole of the World population is an ongoing situation. İf we draw attention, this type of approach, will later become a foundation through the negative function of the religion. The other source is this: the period in which this religion was born, the Jewish peoples were not yet ready for the stage of nationhood; the Jews were a community.
In fact, on one hand, the Egyptian Firavun and on the other, the less fortunate desert tribes, were cornering the jews. They themselves traveled from the regions between Egypt and today’s Syria-Palestine, Syria-Jordan, through the leadership of their prophet Jesus. At the same time, they view themselves as privileged or superior. From one side they are trying to create a national framework for themselves, and on the other side, they are attempting to create acceptance over the whole of humanity, that they are superior and dominant. During the coming-out of the Jewish religion, these characteristics are quite obvious.
As a result, the religion of Judaism being exclusive to the Jew is an attempt to glorify the Jewish. It promises that the jew are the most beloved to God, all the other people have been created for the sole purpose of serving him. This is how the foundations have been created, but it must be expressed that it has been created in a period between the first tribe-clan religions and the development of the monotheistic religions that follow. On this basis, it is a chosen example.
The Jewish religion is neither a clan-tribe religion nor the religion of the whole of humanity. It is the religion of the “chosen” Jewish generation. İt is bigoted on this topic. It is extremely chauvinist and nationalist. It will not give anyone other than a Jew, the right to superiority, it is superior until the end; Jews are constantly under attack because of this reason. İn other words, the jew have made everyone it’s enemy. It remains alone in its war against everyone else, causing them to disperse to all four corners of the World. This is known as the Jewish Pery.
This situation is a result of the characteristics of the Jewish religion. Jews, either become enemies of wherever they migrate to, or they develop discrepancies with everyone else, this is what gave way to their massacre in Germany. With the chaoticness of Hitler, these characteristics of Judaism must not be overlooked. The jew will always impose its superiority and control. And in broader history, and in more developed societies and tribes, this has made them the enemies of the people; taking them to even more massacres. Judaism, in the past and in the present, has been the mutual important problem of humanity. The more onward stages of humanity regarding developments of religion are the stages of heaven.
God has now climbed from the ground to the skies. What does this mean? This means the increase in self-confidence of the people, meaning increased power within society. Humanity has gotten rid of its first function of the tribe- clan system which starts to hold a more inclusive and comprehensive effect on the formations of society (which shows itself in the forms of slavery and later feudalism).
So, the point in which religious plans coincide with these developments is the point of monotheism. Judaism, being persistent on being the religion of the Jews, experiences a very critical stage in the year of 500 B.C. This situation has been distorted and must be corrected. Judaism foreseeing everything as for the purpose of the Jews is as dangerous of today’s strict bourgeois-nationalist chauvinism.
Thus, as seen in Judaism, chauvinism in religion can lead to the most dangerous developments.
