QAMIŞLO

The residents of the city came together in Qamişlo Public Councils and Congress-Star, Osman Sabri Square at 10:00. The mass condemned the attacks on the guerrilla areas by the occupying Turkish state, and against Efrîn’s occupation and the wall built.

The mass marched to Martyr Rubar Qamishlo Square with the slogan “We will end the Turkish occupation with the spirit of resistance in Şeladızê, we will liberate Efrin and Bradost”. People frequently shouted slogans such as “Long live the Efrîn resistance, Long live the İmralı resistance, Long live the guerrilla resistance”.

Şemsihan Gulo, one of the spokespersons of Congress-Star, gave a speech after a minute of silence in Martyr Rubar Qamışlo Square where the march ended. Gulo said, “We, as families of martyrs and as Congress-Star, know that all gains in our lands today are thanking our heroic martyrs and Leader Apo. Today, we should never submit to those who reach out to these gains. We will stand against the people who will harm our revolution, our people and our future, the guerrilla.”

Although the weather was warm, participation was intense. The activists dispersed with slogans.
