Hîva Kerkouki, who read the statement, touched upon; “As a youth, we have stated that we will organize a march against the invasion attacks of the invading Turkish state and the unrest in Kirkuk. Before the march, she had spoken with the Silêmaniye Public Security and was given the necessary permissions. But we were not allowed to walk today. No official document was shown.”
Kerkouki said the following; “As it is known, today our people face dirty massacres. Those who see the so-called Kirkuk as holy do not allow us to protest what happened in Kirkuk today. They wouldn’t let us march against invasion. We condemn it.”
Herem Mehmud, the death fast resister, said the following; “Today we had a protest march against the invasion. But this was not allowed. They have been making dirty plans with the enemy for 27 years. They want our people to surrender. We, as the people of Başurê Kurdistan, will always struggle against this mentality.”
The statement ended with the “O Reqîp” march.
