NISEBIN
The invading Turkish army set fire to the forested area in the village of Talatê in the Omeryan region of MÊRDÊN –Nisêbîn. The fire that started yesterday evening in Talatê and the surrounding villages still continues. The military occupation operation is still continuing in the fire zone. In the ongoing fire in the region, the village people have been stopped from calling the fire brigade, due to the “security” of the operation zone on the grounds, they said.
People are unable to intervene in the fire due to the military operation.
