11 fascist Indian policemen were wounded in an action by the Maoists Guerrilla actions in eastern India. In the statement of the Indian State, it was disclosed that during a “search operation in the forest”, a bomb explosion resulted in eight paramilitary soldiers and three police being wounded.
D.K. Pandey said the wounded soldiers were hospitalized at Ranchi, state capital after Tuesday. Earlier this month, the Maoists carried out action on a minibus carrying police commandos in the state of western Maharashtra and killed 15 officers including drivers. Inspired by the Chinese revolutionary leader, Mao Zedong, the Maoist rebels have been fighting the Indian government for more than 40 years, demanding land and work for tenant farmers and the poor.
