Members of the Young Women’s Struggle Organization and the Association of Matriotic Youth of Kurdistan, are now on the 8th day of the live shield action in Binarê, Qendil against the occupation attacks of the invading Turkish state against Basur.
Today, the youth released a statement condemning the release of sexual assaulters in Hewlêr.
Dirok Mistefa, a member of the young women’s struggle organization, read:
“An 8-year-old child was subjected to sexual assault in Hewlêr. Criminals are walking around freely. Many women were subjected to sexual assault and violence by men. They kill, commit sexual assault, or lead women to suicide.
We condemn all the inhuman practices of these men. We as the Struggling Young Women Organization and the Matriotic Youth Union of Kurdistan are here against the occupation of the Turkish state and against the patriarchal system.
With the spirit of the youth, we will oppose oppression and tyranny and we will win. ”
