HPG Press Liasion Center made a written statement about the actions carried out against the invading Turkish soldiers. 4 occupying Turkish soldiers were killed in the actions of the guerrillas.
1. Within the scope of Martyr Bager and Martyr Ronya Revolutionary Assault, our forces organized actions against the invading Turkish army. In this context;
On June 12, at 22.50, our forces organized an assassination action against the soldiers from the Media Defense Areas. The action was carried out on the Tepe Xwede hill in the Avasin region, where the occupying Turkish army base was being guarded by soldiers. One soldier was killed in the targetting of the enemy unit.
Following the actions at 01.00 on 13 June, our forces targeted the unit on the hill for the second time. 1 enemy soldier who was shot effectively, and was killed. The invading Turkish army removed the dead and wounded soldiers from the area by Skorsky helicopters at around 2:00 am.
On June 14, at 04.30, our forces organized action against the occupying soldiers located on the Martyr Bager hill of Çelê (Çukurca) district of Hakkari. In this action, where enemy positions and shelters were hit accurately, the number of dead and wounded soldiers could not be determined.
At 04.30 on the same day, our forces destroyed surveillance cameras, solar panels and a large number of military equipment in enemy shelters on the Devê Masi hill of Çelê.
2. In the framework of the Martyr Media Mawa and Martyr Rızgar Gever revenge assault on June 14 at 09.00 am, our forces in Şırnak’s Şehriban area of the Besta region Deriyê Beroj hill organized action against enemy soldiers. Two soldiers were killed in this action, in which the enemy unit was effectively shot.
Our forces simultaneously targeted a unit of the enemy unit, a vehicle was destroyed.
