HPG Press Liaison Center released that the Martyr Bager and Martyr Ronya Revolutionary Assault commemorate self-sacrificer, Martyr Zilans, martyrdom anniversary. According to the description of HPG:
1. Within the scope of the Martyr Bager and Martyr Ronya Revolutionary Movements in the Media Defense Areas, our forces organized effective actions against the invading Turkish army on the occasion of the martyr anniversary of Comrade Martyr Zilan. The details of the actions taken are as follows;
On June 23, at 09.05, our forces organized action against the occupying Turkish army on the Martyr Rahime Hill in the Gever (Yüksekova) district of Hakkari. The number of dead and wounded soldiers could not be determined in this action where the enemy’s position and construction machines were effectively shot by two separate branches. Following the action, the invaders randomly bombed the area with howitzers and mortars.
On the same day at 19.30, our forces organized action against the checkpoints of the invading Turkish army located near Çemê Bedel village located between Çelê (Çukurca) district of Hakkari and Van road. In this action, where the enemy’s huts were put under intense fire from 3 separate branches, 5 soldiers were killed and 1 enemy cabin and 1 military vehicle received heavy blows.
At about 11.30 on 24 June, our forces organized a sabotage action against the occupying Turkish troops on the road between Martyr Ferman and Martyr Elisher hills of Gever (Yüksekova) district of Hakkari. 3 soldiers were killed and 3 soldiers were wounded in this successful action.
On the same day, at 19.35, our YJA Star forces carried out an action against the invading Turkish army located in the Meydanbelekê area of Gever district. In this action where the shelters in the area where the enemy was located were effectively shot in 2 arms, 8 enemy soldiers were killed and many soldiers were injured.
3. Fighter aircrafts belonging to the invading Turkish army carried out air strikes against the Media Defense Areas. In this context:
On 23 June, between 23.00 and 00.00, it bombed the Kunishka area of the Zap region.
On June 24 at 13.00, the Small Cilo area of the Zap region was bombed, the Xınerê area of the Xakurkê region at 13.30 was bombed.
On 25 June (today) at 00.30, the occupying Turkish state bombed the Xantur area of the Heftanin area.
While there was no loss in these bombings, there was a fire in the forested areas of the bombed areas.
