HPG Press Liasion Center released a statement regarding the Martyr Bager and Martyr Ronya operation within the scope of the Revolutionary Movements assault. It was released that the offensive against the occupying Turkish army continues.
“Our forces, against the ongoing occupation operations in Xakurkê, have organized effective actions in Çelca (Çukurca) district of Hakkari şu.
On June 8, the occupying Turkish army made ambushes in the field with the support of secret troops in the Kanî Orê area. Our forces took control of these ambushers and carried out an action at 11.00 on the same day. Our forces effectively hit this enemy unit at close range from two separate branches. 5 enemy soldiers were killed and 4 soldiers were injured in this action.
Following the action, the invading Turkish army randomly bombed the surrounding areas with howitzers and mortars.
At 12.30 the same day, our forces organized an action targeting the enemy soldiers located on the Martyr Colemerg Hill. Enemy positions and shelters were intensified under fire and one position and three enemy soldiers were destroyed. Following the action, a fire broke out in the forested area as a result of the occupation of the Turkish army bombing the land with howitzer and mortars.
At 9.30 am on 9 June, our forces organized an action against the soldiers on Martyr Bager Hill. The number of dead and wounded soldiers could not be determined in this action where the enemy positions on the hill were hit accurately. ”
XINÊRE’S AIR ATTACK
HPG bombed the Xinêre area of the Xakurkê region from the Media Defense Areas on June 10th (today) at 07.30 am aiming for the invading Turkish army. We did not experience any loss in these bombings. ”
