HPG BİM released a written statement regarding the actions taken against the occupying Turkish soldiers in Colemêrg as part of the Martyr Bager and Martyr Ronya Revolutionary Assault. HPG announced that three invading Turkish soldiers and two contra-assailants were killed in the actions on different dates.
Description of HPG Within the scope of the Martyr Bager and Martyr Ronya Revolutionary Movements in the Media Defense Areas, our forces organized effective actions against the invading Turkish army. In this context:
At around 4:30 pm on June 14, our forces destroyed the military equipment of enemy shelters on the Devê Masi hill of the Çelê (Çukurca) district of Hakkari. Following this action, the invading Turkish army started an operation in the area and proceeded to the top. Our forces organized a series of sabotage actions against the troops on the same day. 3 enemy soldiers were killed and 2 soldiers were wounded in this action against enemy units. Following the action, the invading Turkish army randomly bombed the operation area with howitzers and mortars. Our union organizing the action has reached the base areas in a solid way.
As part of the revolutionary move, our YJA Star forces organized a sabotage action on a vehicle belonging to contra-guerrillas on the road between the Wargenima outpost in Gever (Yüksekova) district of Hakkari and the defense hill on 9 June. 2 contras were killed in this action.
The occupying Republic of Turkey served this news to the public as if they were two civilians working in the construction of the police station. They have been repeatedly warned by our forces not to cooperate with the enemy. In spite of all these warnings, these people who cooperated with the enemy forces acted actively against the Kurdish people and the freedom movement.
Our matriotic people should be sensitive to this false news spread by the occupying Turkish state within the scope of the special warfare.
