Ramazan Ölçen, the concessionaire of the Azadiya Welat newspaper which was closed with the decision of KHK, has disclosed that he has opened an investigation against the invading Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office into the 24 people massacred in Sirnex, Cizire in 2016. The list of the massacred people includes Editor in Chief, Rohat Aktas, as well as many other employees of the newspaper.
Bişar Durgut, Emrah Kelekçiler, Mehmet Çetin Altun, Rojhat Bilmez, Zafer Tüzün, and Zeynel Abidin Bulut, Elfesiye Baran, Mehmet Şah Aydemir and Welat Öztekin have been questioned on suspicions that they are collaborators of a terrorist organization.
During the investigation, it draws attention that the Azadiya Welat Editor-in-Chief Rohat Aktaş, who was massacred on February 13, 2016, with 60 citizens in the basement where he took refuge during the genocide attacks in Cizîr.
