ISTANBUL
The application of Mehmet Öcalan and his trustee Mazlum Dinç to visit the Peoples Leader, Abdullah Ocalan were rejected by the Bursa Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office yesterday.
Other prisoners; Hamili Yıldırım’s brother Polat Yıldırım, Ömer Hayri Konar’s brother Emin Konar and Veysi Aktaş’s brother Salihe Saltık’s lawyers also admitted yesterday that the application to the prosecutor’s office was not accepted.
The prosecution rejected the applications on 22 April, citing a court decision. This was the second family visit application after the hunger strikes were ended.
