The Ezidi Young People’s Union gathered in the Xanesor District of Şengal and carried out a press statement for the ’Ezîdî young man named Emin Salih, who was killed by the occupying Turkish state Xakurkê and the Turkish occupation soldiers in Zaxo.
During the march, young people who had Kurdish and Arabic banners said ‘No to occupation’ and “Bijî berxwedana Xakurkê’, and ‘damn betrayal’.
After the march, Basim Feqir made a brief statement on behalf of the Ezîdî Youth Union and said: “It has lost. We condemn the attacks of the occupying Turkish state on the Xakurkê with hatred and we will avenge the murder of our friend Emin Salih”.
The statement ended with the slogans ‘Bijî berxwedana Xakurkê’.
