MERDİN
Bayram Demirhan who ended his hunger strike action in Mardin Type E Closed Prison per the call of the Peoples Leader, Abdullah Öcalan’s, has lost his right eye.
Bayram Demirhan and Ahmet Ürün who joined the hunger strike action on January 5 in Mardin Prison, ended their action on May 27 and was transferred to hospital. Demirhan wrote a petition to the prison administration about the prison ward of the hospital being in bad condition and demanded to be transferred back to prison.
Lawyers, Mardin Chamber of Medicine (MTO) and families of detainees who went to prison, confirmed the situation.
