While the occupation attacks of the occupying Turkish state against Başûrê Kurdistan were continuing, it was disclosed that Turkish soldiers had established checkpoints in the occupied areas with peshmerga clothes.
On the 3rd day of the protest against the occupation, they started a live shield in Binarê Qendil. Agirin Basur made a statement on behalf of the youth, said:
We will never accept these practices. We have launched a live shield action in the Binarê Qendil against the invasion attacks of the Turkish state and we will enlarge the action. The Turkish army is attacking the guerrillas in peshmerge clothes and trying to wage the war between the Kurds. Peshmerge clothes are sacred for the Kurds. Thousands of peshmerge were martyred with these clothes. Everyone should have an attitude against these practices of the Turkish state.
As activists, we don’t want the pêmergas to be partners of those who want to start the brother war. We do not accept the collaboration of YNK and KDP with Turkey, and Iran. As the youth of Başurlu, we appeal to martyr families, pêşmergere and Başur people; show their attitude towards the enemy’s practices. ”
