Minbic Internal Security Forces carried out an effective operation, in the city to destroy the cell structure of DAESH. The statement of the Internal Security Forces on the subject, are as follows:
In Minbic, the terrorists have recently increased their attacks on civilian settlements and security check points. DAESH terrorists recently attacked a security point with a bomb-loaded vehicle.
Minbic Internal Security Forces identified the terrorists, who martyred civilians whilst working. In this context, the Internal Security Forces carried out an effective operation against the DAESH cell structures, 6 terrorists were captured, including 2 women.
In light of the work of the Bureau of Investigation, it was determined that this cell structure was involved in many terrorist attacks with explosives, bomb-loaded motorcycles and vehicles. These terrorists also aimed to attack the strategic points of the city.
The Special Teams found a large number of weapons and explosives at the site of the cell structure. The operation captured 4 M16 weapons and one thousand rounds, 2 BKS, 8 ammunition crates and a Kalashnikov magazine, 120 machine guns, 4 bombs, 3 mines, multiple TNT type explosives, night vision binoculars and 4 lasers. 4
