Self Defense Forces of Southern Kurdistan hit the Turkish base in the Zaxo district of Dihok. South Kurdistan Self-Defense Forces, aiming at Girê Bîyê Police Station, our forces, which took fire from two different branches of shelters and buildings in the police station, killed 20 enemy soldiers as a result of effective strikes and destroyed many shelters and 1 military vehicle in the police station camp.
South Kurdistan Self-Defense Forces said in a written statement: On June 7, our troops organized an action aimed at the Girê Bîyê outpost of the occupying Turkish army in Zaxo’s Bêgova town on 18 June at the Media Defense Areas.
Turkey has recently launched an occupation operation against the Xakurkê region in the territory of Southern Kurdistan. Our forces, which fired two different branches of shelters and buildings in the police station, killed 20 enemy soldiers as a result of effective strikes, while 1 military vehicle in the police station campus and many shelters in the police station camp were destroyed.
After the action, the invading Turkish army started attacking with howitzers and mortars around the villages of Rusê and Şundırê bombed the area around the village of Coordine Hill and Şundirê. While there was no loss in these bombings, material damage occurred in the vineyards and gardens of the local people. ”
