According to the information received from Van Ferit Melen Airport, 2 flights were cancelled for unknown reasons during the day and a flight to Istanbul was scheduled and departed at 3 am.
The flight allegedly was boarded by some 200 people who were previously registered in Istanbul to vote.
Kayhan Türkmenoğlu, AKP Van Province Chairman, has led the passengers.
It has been disclosed that the AKP voters dispersed in Turkey’s 81 provinces were able to reach Istanbul by bus and other transport and that all accommodation costs will be met by the AKP.
