35 HDP Youth Detained By Fascist Turkish Police Operation

The fascist Turkish police organized an operation against the People's Democratic Party (HDP) in Adana, Niğde, and Mêrdîn. 35 members of the Adana Provincial Youth Assembly were detained.

The fascist Turkish police organized an operation against the People’s Democratic Party (HDP) in Adana, Niğde, and Mêrdîn. 35 members of the Adana Provincial Youth Assembly were detained.

Within the scope of the investigation conducted by the Adana Chief Public Prosecutor’s office, it was disclosed that the fascist police broke the doors of the houses with rams and rummaged the houses. The fascist police confiscated digital materials during the searches.

Following the health checks, the detained youths were taken to the Political Branch of Adana Provincial Security Directorate.  It was revealed that 35 youths were taken into custody on the allegations of being a member of an illegal organization.

Some of the detainees are: Burhan Erol, Pınar Bozan, Melike Yeşil, Doğuş Kanter, Barış Aydın and DBP PM Member Halit Şaşmaz.
