STRASBOURG
In protest of the isolation imposed on the People’s Leader Abdullah Öcalan, the hunger strike resistance in Strasbourg, which continues on his 154th day against heavy aggravated isolation, continues with intensive visits.
14 people, including politicians, journalists, jurists and academicians, have started a hunger strike resistance in Strasbourg, France. The health status of the hunger strikers, who are visitted by people from different countries every day, continues to worsen.
Following the conditions of the activists from the very beginning, Dr. Fahrettin Gulsen, explained in a statement that both the tissue loss of the internal organs and permanent damage to the nervous and digestive systems were drawing attention.
The names of the hunger strikers are as follows: Former HDP deputy Dilek Ocalan, journalist Gulistan Ike, female activist Nurgul Basaran, Kardo Bokani, Mustafa Sarıkaya, Ekrem Yapıcı, Ramazan İmir, Kerem Solhan, Ayvaz Ece, Mohamed Ghaderi, Yüksel Koç, Deniz Sürgüt, Mehmet Nimet Sevim ve Agit Ural.
