ANTALYA
Nurcan Saraç, who lives in the district of Kepez in Antalya, killed a man named Cengiz Aydın as self-defense on 4 June 2018. After the incident, Nurcan was taken into custody and arrested by the court.
Nurcan’s trial at the Antalya 6th High Criminal Court continued. Nurcan and Cengiz Aydın’s relatives and lawyers attended the hearing, the incident report which was taken at the scene by the fascist police was read out. A.O. was later reffered to the Xarpêt 1st Assize Court.
‘HELP’
The fascist police mentioned that the Defendant had shouted “Save me, help”. They said she had stabbed Cengiz once with a single wound to the belly, and that she could have tried to save the Victim. The victim was lying on his stomach, on the bed when the fascist police attended the crimescene. Nurcan said, “I could not open the door and try to save him at the same time”.
‘NOT TO DİE‘
Cengiz Aydın’s relatives’ lawyer asked that Nurcan be punished by claiming that she is guilty of the crime.
Nurcan, said that the knife used during the incident was not intended to kill, and that the intention was not to die. Nuran’s lawyer Serap Ertugrul said, “In our opinion, self-defense provisions were formed. In addition, we request the Prosecutors furhter consideration of the defense before the demand of prison time” he said.
Fascist prosecutor, charged Nurcan with aggravated offense. The request of 12 years imprisonment for the trial was postponed.
