The Reqa Youth Assembly organized a memorial event with the participation of members of the City Council, the members of the People’s Assembly, the members of the city and village communes.
Delal Derviş, a member of the Syrian Democratic Assembly (MSD), who spoke at the event, stated that the liberation of a free and honorable life was a necessity for the martyrs, and that they owed all their gains to the martyrs.
Delal continued his speech: Without the martyrs, we would not be here today. Without the efforts of our martyrs, our lands would not be free of terror. Therefore, we must protect the values created by our martyrs.
At the end of his speech, Delal reiterated the promise of continuing the struggle on the trail of the martyrs.
Following the speeches, the memorial event ended with slogans.
