Silence Kills, Not Hunger

DARMSTADT – “Not hunger but silence kills“ is the motto for which the Kurdish young women want to gain attention. In order to enlighten the critical situation of the hunger strike and the Death Fast, today Jinên Ciwan ên Azad (Kurdish Young Women’s Movement) and JXK (Jinên Xwendekar ên Kurdistan, female Students of Kurdistan) have carried out actions in three different places in Darmstadt (Germany). The young women have closed off places in the city center and the local university with barricade tape and drew dead bodies on the floor. At the same time flyers were distributed to passers-by to draw attention to the current situation of the resistance of the Kurdish people against the totalisolation of the Peoples Leader Abdullah Öcalan.
