In the Arsuz district of Hatay, it was reported that a man exposed two children to systematic sexual abuse.
The school administration complained about the sexual abuse that was revealed when the children told their teachers the situation. While the children describe the systematic abuse that they were exposed to, the perpetrator C.Ö. was detained.
The court ignored the ECB report C.Ö., the Forensic Medicine Institute (ATK), who was referred to the court with a request for arrest, was released by the Criminal Court of Peace despite the findings of abuse. The judge, ignoring the ATK report, decided that the perpetrator would be tried pending a trial on the grounds of “no strong suspicion of a crime”.
Fascist judiciary also brought a confidentiality decision to the file.
On the other hand, the children of the predator sat near the house where the harassed child was and threatened the children and the family. The family repeatedly called for fascist police, who did nothing. Thereupon, the family went to the prosecutor’s office and filed a criminal complaint about the perpetrator and the Arsuz Police Department. It was reported that the fascist prosecutor’s office decided to suspend him for 90 days.
Social media action was taken by women upon hearing of the incident, Iskenderun Women’s Platform took action and launched an action on the social media with the label a#arsuzveiskenderundaçocuklaratacizvar. The platform launched a large number of social media users, protesting the judiciary’s decision against sexual abuse.
In addition, the lawyer on behalf of the Law Office of the Justice and Freedom Law of the Iskenderun Women said they will inestigate.
