The Maoist Communist Party (MKP) Central Committee / Political Bureau issued a written message today on the occasion of the 46th anniversary of the revolutionary leader Ibrahim Kaypakkaya.
In the message it was emphasized that ”Kaypakkaya is the legend of the Red Uprising”. With his intense fighting and combat practice; and scientific research of the struggle for workers’ as well as peasant movements and uprisings”, Kaypakkaya became an effective warrior.
HE BECAME IMMORTAL AFTER HEAVY TORTURE
The period when Kaypakkaya, who re-raised the flag of communism, was killed, it was mentioned: Just as we are at the beginning of the practical struggle and in the first year of the formation of our party, on March 12, he became the target of the AFC’s fierce fascist attacks under the command of Fehmi Altinbilek. In the same confrontation comrade Ibrahim Kaypakkaya was severely injured and Ali Haydar Yildiz became immortal. The torture process began through forcing the comrade to march through the snow, wounded and barefoot. The comrade was put in the Amed dungeons, where he stayed for 3.5 months and was later killed by the enemy as a solution for the defeat they were suffering. On May 18, 1973 our founder and leader Kaypakkaya was killed and made immortal.
WE ARE PROTECTING OUR INSISTENCE ON REVOLUTION
Our Party maintains its communist direction with the progress of the Socialist People’s War for the socialist revolution, while preserving its persistence in the revolution, despite the three organizational defeats and heavy knocks it has received, MKP said in their message.
