The People’s Leader Abdullah Öcalan mentions in his statement that the hunger strike and death fasts reached its goal, “I’m waiting for the termination of actions”, and the hunger strike pro-Kurdish deputies shared the message of the DTK Co-chair Leyla Güven, who has been on hunger strike for 200 days.
Stating that their resistance has reached their goal, Güven stated that their resistance reached its goal and said, I am ending my hunger strike action that I have started, as of today. But our struggle against isolation and our struggle for social peace will continue in all areas. The place where this struggle must arrive is an honorable peace.
