BEHDINAN

HPG Press Liaison Center made a statement about the guerrilla actions carried out in Serhat. HPG explained the following details:

As part of the ongoing Revolutionary Victory Movement in Serhat Province, our forces organized an action against a hedgehog-type armored vehicle belonging to the occupying Turkish army near Sariksu Village on May 20 at 15:30 in Van.

In this action where the enemy vehicle was hit effectively at close range, the vehicle was completely destroyed and more than 10 enemy soldiers were killed. After the action, the occupying Turkish army removed the dead and wounded soldiers from the area with the support of unmanned aerial vehicles.

Our unity that organized the action has reached a solid base. In the context of the move, our forces organized an assassination attempt on the soldiers, who were on the security hill of Serêkaniye Police Station, on the 21st of May at 14.00, in the town of Bazid (Doğubeyazıt) of Ağrı. 1 enemy soldiers were killed in this action.
